Faculty Art Gallery

I went to the faculty art show, and personally I genuinely enjoyed it. I loved being  able to see first hand my professors art works and styles. I have to say that the array of styles and mediums were quite enjoyable. One professors’ work  especailly caught my eye. She is Meaghan Milner Reed. She did a work that she called Case #6, made from found case, acrylic, tin, and feathers. The uses of different mediums brings an interesting feel into the piece. I think that the most interesting gestalt principle used was closure. This is displayed using the foil and feathers inside the found case.
